How locations are checked

How MiruMichi checks anime pilgrimage locations before publishing them — from map coordinates to confidence labels.

Each guide starts with a real place: coordinates, nearest station, walking time, and a short note on what makes the location recognizable.

Anime references are used as context. The page should still work as a travel note if a visitor has not seen the exact frame.

  1. 01
    Confirm the place

Check public references, map position, station access, and whether the spot is safe to visit without entering private areas.

  2. 02
    Write the route

Add the nearest station, walking time, arrival tip, photo advice, and basic etiquette for the site.

  3. 03
    Label confidence

Use Official, Community verified, or Visual match so readers know how strong the location claim is.

What we do not publish

We avoid listing private homes, school interiors without public access, or spots that require trespassing to reproduce a screenshot.

When a frame is ambiguous — for example a generic skyline or a chain restaurant interior — we either omit the match or downgrade the confidence label and explain the limitation in the visit notes.
